Neurological Physiotherapy

A skilled team of physiotherapists experienced in working with neurological disorders, long terms conditions and trauma-based injuries

Our team assesses each client’s needs, and the treatment approach will be tailored to those needs. We work with clients and their families/carers to help them to achieve their goals and succeed in challenges.

We have a range of rehabilitation technology, specialist equipment and exercise equipment available at the clinic. This enables us to offer a service to those more dependent on aids for moving and handling including supported standing and stepping. Rehabilitation technology can make sessions fun, engaging and enable high repetitions of specific movements.

We offer assessments and treatments in the community. This can be a home visit or supporting a client to access an activity or place.

Physiotherapy treatment programmes may be supported by a Physiotherapy Assistant. Our Physiotherapy Assistant undertakes treatment sessions with clients on a 1:1 basis. The treatment plans are guided by the lead therapist for each client. Regular feedback between our Physiotherapy Assistant and lead therapists ensures treatment plans are updated appropriately, concerns and successes are shared.

Within the clinic/gym based near Chichester we have a range of specialist equipment available to support clients:

Yes we have a range of equipment to help transfer clients with varying needs. We have a full overhead hoist system to aids that support individuals once in standing.

We have a lovely spacious gym area with a wide range of therapy, exercise equipment and rehabilitation technology to support each clients needs. This allows us to offer a wide range of treatment approaches. However, we are aware that for some activities it is key to get out and about into the community or undertake sessions at home.

This will depend on your clinical needs and what you would like to achieve. Following an initial assessment we will discuss treatment options and what you hope to achieve from attending therapy.

Check out our group exercise page which explains what each group focuses on and who it is aimed at. Some of our groups only require a short assessment whilst others require more input prior to attendance. Our aim is to make groups accessible to as many as possible and everybody can access their first session free of charge.
