Augmented Reality Strolll Therapy for Parkinson's
We are excited to offer the Strolll augmented reality therapy technology
The Strolll system offers two distinct therapeutic activities; exercise games, and cueing strategies.
With augmented reality you can still see the space you are in and the images are portrayed into that space in real time. The games are fun and engaging. This is key to compliance and increasing the volume of exercise someone does. The role of the therapist is to prescribe the appropriate games and dosage for each individual. We can also trial different cueing strategies and support someone with Parkinson’s to use that cueing strategy effectively.
At LV Rehabilitation we have invested in the HoloLens and the Magicleap devices. This enables versatility in terms of accommodating individuals who wear glasses as well as different headset types. It also allows our clinicians to use a device which mirrors what our client sees. Then we can guide them through the system more easily.
Devices can be rented through our clinic and a prescribed programme will be provided. It is important that an initial assessment is undertaken so a full understanding of each person’s needs are taken into account before proceeding with using this device. If appropriate, time at the end of the assessment will be allocated for trialing the device.
To find out how to trial this technology please use the contact form below or give us a call.

Frequently asked questions about our treatments
Can you manage individuals who cannot walk or stand?
What is the benefit of coming to the clinic?
We have a lovely spacious gym area with a wide range of therapy, exercise equipment and rehabilitation technology to support each clients needs. This allows us to offer a wide range of treatment approaches. However, we are aware that for some activities it is key to get out and about into the community or undertake sessions at home.
How much treatment do I need?
How do I access group sessions?
Check out our group exercise page which explains what each group focuses on and who it is aimed at. Some of our groups only require a short assessment whilst others require more input prior to attendance. Our aim is to make groups accessible to as many as possible and everybody can access their first session free of charge.
