Vicky Knight
Director and Physiotherapist
Vicky completed a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Bath and then went on to qualify as a physiotherapist at the University of Southampton in 2009. Vicky has worked in the NHS and private sector where she has developed her clinical skills and learnt to integrate the principles into her treatment plans. She specialises in Neurological rehabilitation and has experience of working with a range of conditions.
Vicky is passionate about supporting individuals with neurological conditions and utilises exercise in their rehabilitation. To support this interest, she has become a PD Warrior™ instructor. She is also enthusiastic about using technology in rehabilitation and is a clinical specialist in Functional Electrical Stimulation/Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (FES/NMES). She has experience of using this technology to support upper and lower limb rehabilitation both in adults and paediatrics.
Vicky teaches other health professionals the application of FES/NMES and the PD Warrior programme.
Her clients have described her as positive, energetic (bit like “Tigger”), professional and always striving to get the best out of everyone. Her colleagues describe her as passionate, determined and willing to go the extra mile to help her clients.
